BEES NAME TEAM TO FACE MOSELEY IN LOCAL RELEGATION PLAYOFF D

Birmingham & Solihull have named their side for tomorrow’s (Saturday 19th March) Championship Relegation Playoff game against Moseley at Billesley Common.

The Bees have made six changes to the side that lost 22-30 to Esher in their opening Playoff match last Sunday. The regular second row pairing of Semisi Taulava and Adrian Griffiths is selected, with Mark Hopley moving to blind side flanker. Jack Preece returns from injury at open side flanker to replace Mike Denbee, who himself picked up a knock early on in the first half of last week’s game.

In the backs, Jimmy Williams starts at scrum half, with winger Ian Davey restored to wing. Tom Foden is preferred ahead of Ollie Winter at full back.

The Bees team to face Moseley at Billesley Common is as follows: 1 Rob Dugard, 2 Ross McMillan(c), 3 Leo Halavatau, 4 Semisi Taulava, 5 Adrian Griffiths, 6 Mark Hopley, 7 Jack Preece, 8 Russell Earnshaw, 9 Jimmy Williams, 10 Mark Woodrow, 11 Ian Davey, 12 Sam Cox, 13 Will Lawson, 14 Simon Hunt, 15 Tom Foden.

Replacements: 16 Nglau Tau, 17 Matt Long, 18 Ross Noonan, 19 Adam Clayton, 20 Dan Sanderson, 21 Rod Petty, 22 Mitch Culpin.
