Midlands accountants and business advisory firm, Smith Cooper, won first prize at the recent Bees’ Business Club Prize Draw which will see their logo prominently displayed on the team’s shirt for the forthcoming season.
Jeremy Cope, Partner at Smith Cooper’s Birmingham office and long term supporter of the Bees, said: “It’s a fantastic prize to win - I come down to the Bees whenever I can and to see Smith Cooper’s logo on the shirts this season will be a great source of pride. We are committed to supporting local companies across the region and our recent involvement in the Bees Business Club enables us to promote stronger professional links and networking in the business community.”
There were six prizes in total at the Portway-based side’s Business Club Draw. Second prize - branding on the back of the team’s shorts - was won by Traffix UK, a new company to be associated with the Bees. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to promote Traffix UK and support a local club in their push for promotion back to National League Division One”, said Gary Horsburgh of Traffix UK.
Third prize of four England International Tickets were won by local law firm, Cameron Legal LLP, whilst Charles Stanley, Heritage IFA and Abbeyland Ltd bagged a Match Day Sponsorship and Player Sponsorships respectively.
Speaking after the draw, Bees’ General Manager, Ben Seifas said: “It is great to have local sponsors involved with the club and we have expanded the Business Club Prize Draw this year to offer an even better package.” He added, “Companies and other interested organisations can still join the Business Club and for those who sign up now there will be another Prize Draw before Christmas.”
