Reports suggest that Millwall may be ready to make a bid for Blackburn Rovers defender Andy Todd. After falling out with Rovers boss Graeme Souness, the chances of Todd staying at Ewood Park remain remote.

Reports suggest that Millwall may be ready to make a bid for Blackburn Rovers defender Andy Todd.

After falling out with Rovers boss Graeme Souness, the chances of Todd staying at Ewood Park remain remote.

The question though is whether or not they'll be any takers with a £750k price tag on the 29-year-old's head.

Wigan were understood to be interested but baulked at paying that kind of money.

Rovers want to recoup what they splashed out for the player two years ago, when they brought him on board from Charlton Athletic.

Todd spent 3 years at the Valley, after arriving for £750k from Bolton.

If Millwall boss Dennis Wise does meet Rovers' asking price it will be the third time in Todd's career that he's been transferred for that amount.

Todd began his career at Middlesbrough before moving on to Bolton for £250k in 1995, and has had a couple of loan spells at Swindon and Grimsby respectively.
