Ward:The star so far

Centre back Darren Ward has been Millwall's most consistent performer so far, scoring three "eight of tens" in the first three games of the season. He was the one shining light against Wigan, while Matt Lawrence and Adrian Serioux have been our other star man-of-the-matches so far.

Ratings v Leicester (average ratings so far - only for ever-presents)

Stack 8 (7.66) Great save to deny Scowcroft and barvely down at Connolly's feet.

Elliott 8 (6.66) Put in sone great crosses and tackled hard.

Lawrence 7 (7.0) Not quite back to his best, but not far off.

Ward 8 (8.0) Unflappable.

Simpson 8 (7.33) Looked better at full back than in midfield.

Wise 7 (7.33) Inspiration but not as dominant as usual.

Morris 8 (6.33) Ran tirelessly and nicked the first goal - a 20/1 shot to do that!

Serioux 9 (MoM) Throws worried Leicester, tackled & distributed well. Showed good positional sense.

Livermore 7 (6.33) Solid old self.

Dichio 8 (7.33) Took his chance with aplomb - on the ground for once!

McCammon 7 - Battled bravely.
