United beat Stoke to ace

Sheffield United have beaten Stoke City to Millwall ace Paul Ifill. The right winger-cum-striker had a year to go on his current deal, so the Lions have offloaded their popular star for £800,000 - which sounds cheap at the price.
On his day, Ifill is as good as anyone in the Championship, but last season there weren't too many of these days as he was mainly out injured.
Perhaps it was time to cash in, but Millwall fans won't be delighted with the selling price.
In January, a £750,000 bid from Stoke was rejected out of hand.
Four months later, the Lions do business with Neil Warnock for just £50,000 more.
After selling Tim Cahill too cheaply to Everton, it seems Millwall couldn't stop themselves from making the same mistake.
