Baggies, Eagles, Canaries and Blades chase Ward?

Reports suggest that a mystery Premiership club has entered the race to sign Darren Ward. West Brom have had central defensive problems this season, so are probably the un-named Premiership club concerned. Then there's also West Ham, who are also interested.

West Brom always seem to be doing deals with Millwall, after having recently flogged us strikers like Dobie and Dichio.

We also nearly struck a deal with them to bring Neil Clement in last summer, but that fell through.

Meanwhile, our chairman Jeff Burnige now believes that it will be next week before he is ready to appoint a new manager.

Maybe it could be George Burley then! (hic)
