Palace win Ward race?

West Ham, West Brom, Sheffield United, Stoke and Norwich are set to miss out on Darren Ward. Millwall are set to sell to local rivals Crystal Palace, in a deal that's not gone down too well with the fans.

Selling our best players to Palace has been a policy the club has followed for many a year.

Anyone remember Derek Possee?

Had it not been for his agent, Tim Cahill would have been at Palace too.

So let's not pretend we're shocked.

It's not done and dusted yet, so there is still the forlorn hope he'll sign for a Premiership club.
