Teddy takeover? Sheringham back?

There are rumours doing the rounds that Teddy Sheringham is returning to Millwall in a managerial capacity. It may not be a very popular move if true, notwithstanding the player's legendary status as equal club top scorer of all time.

Rumours are always rife at Millwall, so this should be taken with a huge pinch of salt, but someone claims to have seen Theo dining with Teddy. So what, you might say, but there's also a rumour that Claridge is about to get sacked. I find it hard to believe, but that's what's being said. It could be that Teddy is being lined up as Claridge's assistant boss, but Sheringham's just signed a one-year deal with West Ham so that's unlikely as well. But nothing surprises me at Millwall, especially after the soap opera summer we've just had!
