Thomo misses Tayside Derby

Dundee United will be without Steven Thompson for the visit of St Johnstone to Tannadice.

The striker has a calf strain.

Boss Alex Smith said: "The fans have been great this season and our aim is to say thank you to them."

Meanwhile, Jim Weir and Darren Dods are Billy Stark's only injury concerns.

Weir has been troubled with an Achilles injury and is rated "very doubtful" for the game at Tannadice.

Stark, however, is more hopeful on Dods, who turned his ankle in training, but Peter MacDonald has recovered from a foot injury.
