Vogts is in the middle of a hectic schedule of club matches and has been busy scouting for players in Scotland and England.

But he admitted a number of players had already impressed him sufficiently in the victory over United in the behind-closed-doors match at Stirling Albion's Forthbank Stadium.

He said: "It is possible that maybe four or six players will go to the Far East.

"Last week I was watching Stoke City against Cardiff, Fulham against Leicester and tomorrow (Wednesday) I go to Wolverhampton and watch Wolves against Norwich.

"On Saturday I will watch the Old Firm cup final. After that I will be clear in my mind which players will go with me to the Far East.

"I will name my squad maybe on Saturday after the game."

Vogts, who has handed out a number of debut caps in the two games he has been in charge of so far, is to take a squad of 24 to the Far East.

The Scots have three matches lined up, against World Cup hosts South Korea in Busan and then a two-match tournament in Hong Kong.

The first match there will be a clash with World Cup-bound South Africa, and the second sees the Scots take on a Hong Kong League XI.
