Kit Launch' With A Difference

Before the start of a new rugby season players nowadays look forward to trying on their new shirts, but the Cornish Pirates prefer to do differently.

Hambly and Evans get their kit off
For hooker Owen Hambly and No. 8 Matt Evans, putting their kit on, but of getting their kit off!

Body Art
The new design of Cornish Pirates shirt, provided again this year by their kit sponsor Samurai, will be painted on the players skin at the recently opened PZ Gallery.

Home & Away kit with a difference
But that's not all, for joining them this Thursday will be two lady models who will pair up with the not surprisingly willing Pirates twosome to 'display' the home and away kit to be worn this season by Cornwall's leading rugby team.

The actual painting process will take six hours, starting at 8a.m. in the morning for completion and 'launch' at 2p.m.

The PZ Gallery, which was formerly known as Taylor's Garage, is opposite the Art Deco outdoor bathing pool on the promenade, Penzance.
