There are several changes in the Pirates line-up from the one that started in last Saturday’s 30-25 victory away to Hartpury. Tom Pittman is named at fly-half, Arthur Relton is selected on the wing, and Tom Georgiou will partner Ioan Evans in the centre.

In the forwards Fin Richardson comes in at tight-head prop and Hugh Bokenham moves up into the second row. Hugh’s place at Number 8 is taken by skipper John Stevens, who played in the ‘7’ shirt last week, which will worn by Will Gibson.

On the bench, and keen to make his debut for the Pirates, is on-loan Exeter ‘Chief’ Hallam Chapman

A number of changes and an opportunity for a few squad players to impress as we approach the last few games of the season.
Really looking forward to Sunday to see the team play in what should be sunny and dry conditions.
Hopefully home advantage and a team playing with confidence will be enough to get us the win and keep us in the hunt for a 2nd place finish.

It would be nice to have a dry day and hopefully some running rugby. Good to see Robin back in the squad.

5pts is more than possible unless we have another mad 10 mins. A nice day, dry pitch and a chance of running rugby at last, whatever the outcome we know the lads will give 110%. Gd luck lads, heres hoping for a big loud crowd today.

A welcome 5 points which seemed unlikely at half time as we were losing 18 -14 to a spirited Cambridge side.
Thankfully whatever was said at the break had the desired effect and we scored 31 unanswered points to run out worthy winners against a Cambridge side who ran out of steam but never gave up.
The first half try by Ruaridh Dawson after a number of players had off loaded in the tackle and a terrific individual effort by Matt McNab were the highlights of the afternoon.
Well done to all the players and coaches for turning things around and getting the 5 points which keeps us in with finishing in second place.
Enjoy the few days off before we make the long trip to Nottingham.

A workmanlike performance from the boys, Cambridge took the game to us in the first half and caught us a little flat. Second half we stepped up a gear and finally overcame a rapidly tiring and dispirited opponent. So a deserved 5pts and it keeps us in the running for 2nd place, personally I'd be happy with 3rd. Looking back this group of players have gelled remarkably well and in very short order have become a force to be reckoned with this year, not only a tribute to the boys themselves but a massive job done by the coaches and medical staff . 3 games to go so keep up the pressure lads who knows what you can achieve.

Well said Cornishbob. I think we are all impressed with how well this group have come together and become, at the very least, a top four team in a very strong league. Once again the coaches have uncovered some very talented players, formed them in to a cohesive unit and engendered a proper camaraderie and team spirit.
The game was very much the same as the cup game in Cambridge in September. Nothing in it at half time, then we kept them scoreless in the second half and ran away with it scoring some spectacular tries.

A great result with 5 Points in the bag and looking forward to my next home fixture.....Nottingham.
