The Pirates side shows four changes in the starting line-up. Scrum half Dan Hiscocks, an early replacement for the injured Cam Jones last week, will wear the number 9 shirt, and the experienced propping pair of Billy Keast and Jay Tyack make their first league starts of the league campaign, as does lock Matt Cannon.

On the bench, prop Ollie Andrews will be keen to make his first Championship appearance for the Pirates, as will scrum half Will Rigelsford and backrower Tomiwa Agbongbon, who has arrived on loan this week from Ealing Trailfinders.

This will be a tough game against a strong London Scottish side with a number of Harlequin players in their squad.
If we can show the same levels of attitude, commitment and skill that we displayed in last week's game against Ealing then I think we can get the win.

Never an easy place to go - we've come unstuck there a few times!
But this is a dogged group of players who never give up, so we know they'll give it 100%.

London Scottish 26 Pirates 15
A disappointing result against a dangerous Scottish side who gave the pirates a lesson in how to play running rugby and were deservedly leading 21-5 at half time.
Numerous handling errors didn't help the pirates cause as they tried to fight back in the 2nd half.
We will need a big reaction to this result against Bedford at home next Saturday.

Disappointing, but it was asking a lot with several changes and a lot of players who haven't had much time to gel together. Losing key men like Alex and John was always going to be difficult to deal with, as well as having Cam Jones injured last week as well. Sounds like Bruce had an off day with his kicking, and this happens to the best.
Hoping some of the injured men will be back next week for a tough game against Bedford, who are always a handful.
