The Pirates side shows several changes in the starting line-up this week. In the backs Will Trewin is named at full-back, Robin Wedlake returns on the wing, Cam Jones is selected at scrum half, and in the absence of an injured Joe Elderkin Harry Yates will partner Tom Georgiou in the centre.
In the forwards hooker Harry Hocking will have Billy Young and James French as his propping pair.

At least Glos are playing the game and fielding a mostly young development type team. But Morgan Nelson is starting along with former Pirate Alfie Petch. It's going to be a tough ask, but what an experience for our boys to run out at Kingsholm. Myself and the lovely Sue will be there - very excited about our first visit to the famous old ground.
This will be another tough game but there is an opportunity here for the pirates to get a win.
Hopefully the boys will enjoy the experience of playing at kingsholm and give their all trying to get a much needed win.
Thank you Glos for playing the game in the spirit of the competition, not like the Chiefs who are using the cup competition as a first team bonding exercise.
What a game and a fine result for Coventry. Tiger supporters a little quiet during play(they tend to make a noise when winning or ahead only). With Tigers taking an early lead Coventry came back and went in 26 - 5 ahead by half time. The the second half Coventry were under attack but when they got their final try appeared to soak up any pressure put on them. Once again met a Tiger supporter who was impressed how strong Coventry played. I emphasised how lucky he was to live a short distance from Coventry, Nottingham and Bedford he was so could go and watch a game. Did not look impressed at this but who knows.
Hard luck Pirates and a sign things will start to develop.
The Pirates boys played their socks off today and we're very proud of them. Stayed in the game even when Glos brought on the big guns and we were not far away from an historic win. Very unfortunate at the end when a Glos penalty hit the upright, Bruce didn't quite gather it and it was knocked forward (very marginal decision) into Matt's hands, so he was offside. That gave Glos a kick right in front of the posts to take them eight points clear.
Lovely to be at Kingsholm, plenty of Pirates support there too. Very enjoyable afternoon.
