This is always a tough fixture against a Doncaster side who will be keen to get back to winning ways after last week's draw with Cambridge.
We will miss Charlie Rice in the 2nd row who is having a great season.
It's unfortunate timing as Alfie Bell has been recalled by Exeter and is on the bench for tomorrow's premiership cup match.
Hopefully the spirit in the squad is high after last week's performance and we can get the win.

Doncaster 44 Pirates 12
A very embarrassing defeat on the road for the pirates despite scoring a converted try in the first minute.
Doncaster seemed to cut us wide open whenever they moved the ball at pace across their backline even from their own goal line.
We need a big reaction from the squad ahead of next week's visit of London Scottish.

For a professional team, it's just not acceptable to get pumped like this. Shipping 40 points plus, every away game since December. Very, very disappointing.

That's a shocker, didn't see that coming.

Really disappointing. Unfortunately too many poor performances this season. With the budget, you don’t expect wins every week, but a degree of fight would be nice and this seems to be lacking in spades when on the road.

Disjointed, seems when we click we are as good as most in the league but when we don't we look very ordinary, some might say it was a bad day at the office, we'll struggle to make the top six at this rate!!! I'm sure the lads played their hearts out and gave 110% but they weren't on the same page today. That said Donny played well and closed us down easily, lessons learned I hope and any injuries are minor.
