The sponsorship is paid for from the pockets of the posters and to ensure that the costs are covered; this year sponsorship is £35, including a very generous donation from Burnley's only fanzine "When the Ball Moves". This sum includes an invitation to a commercial match package for a yet to be determined Burnley home game. It's a bargain with all the funds going directly to Burnley Football Club.

Kevin McDonald was signed by Owen Coyle in June of this year at the second attempt after an initial bid was turned down by Alex Rae the Dundee manager.

The fee for the player regarded by many to be the brightest prospect in Scottish football before his move south to Burnley will rise to £500k if the add ons and incentives are activated.

He was born in Carnoustie in 1988, famous for its golf course which hosted the 2007 Open Golf Championships.

His debut came in 2005 at the very tender age of 16 and he hit the headlines earlier this year in March when he scored the winner for Scotland's U21 team against Finland at Aberdeen's home ground Pittodrie against Finland.

McDonald made his Clarets debut for Burnley in America when the Clarets went down 2-1 to Carolina Railhawks, he even collected his first card as a Claret, a yellow from the ref.

We were originally going to sponsor Besart Berisha who has moved on loan to Norwegian team Rosenborg BK till January. However, Burnley Football Club were happy to move our sponsorship to a player who will be wearing the Claret and Blue of Burnley this season instead off the Black and White of the team founded as Odd in 1917.
