Burnley v Swansea - preview

Swansea are newly promoted to this level but have acclimatised better than Forest and Doncaster and Currently find themselves sitting in 11th place only 8 points behind the clarets.  The have drawn all of there last eight league games braking a league record in the process the last two being 0-0.

We hope that Saturday brings goals however and with Burnley having only managed one clean sheet since the beginning of December when we shut out Arsenes young Guns we could well see goals.  We also seem to be developing a knack of being involved in high scoring matches on sky.  This season alone we have featured three times and a total of 12 goals have been scored.

The transfer window has seen the Swans bolster there squad with the signings of Dimi Konstantopolous and ex Burnley loanee Nathan Dyer, they have also been linked with a move for Carlisle striker Danny Graham but at the time of writing no move has been agreed.

Burnley on the other hand haven't been able to tie up any incoming deals, we do however have captain Caldwell back from suspension.  Joey Gudjonsson is likely to be out with an injury collected at Spurs and it remains to be seen whether Mccann and Mcdonald are fit to play.

Burnley faced Swansea at the Liberty Stadium and the result was, you guessed it, a draw.  Joey Gudjonsson scoring our effort before Ferre Bodde equalised with virtually the last kick of the game.

The match on Saturday see's Longside Legend Leighton James (ex Burnley and Swansea) appear as the half time guest.
