When We Were Kings
In 1960, with the League Championship under their belts, the great team managed by Harry Potts and including the likes of McIlroy, Adamson, Pointer and Connelly took on the might of other countries in the European Cup.
Six years later in the European Fairs Cup, a new Burnley team challenged again for European honours against some of the game’s finest players.
Using recently unearthed footage – most of it not seen on DVD ever before – now comes the chance to re-live those special nights, all four European Cup games, including the infamous Hamburg away leg and the ‘Battle of Naples’ in the Fairs Cup.
The DVD also includes interviews with those at the heart of the action, including Jimmy McIlroy, Ray Pointer, Jimmy Robson, Willie Irvine, Andy Lochhead, Uwe Seeler, the late, great Brian Miller and legendary BBC commentator Kenneth Wolstenholme.
 
The Team of the 70s
This important film, now on DVD for the first time, captures a period in history when Burnley Football Club was in transition. The Harry Potts era was coming to an end and Jimmy Adamson was soon to be the new manager.
An exciting new team was forming around the likes of Colin Waldron, Martin Dobson, Ralph Coates, Dave Thomas and Steve Kindon. Leighton James would soon make his debut.
Jimmy Adamson said they could be the ‘Team of the 70’s’. He was nearly right.
But sadly it wasn’t to be and Burnley Football Club spiralled into a decline that almost proved to be terminal.

The Orient Game

For the first time on DVD, re-live all the action from that nail-biting day in May 1987, when Burnley Football Club was staring into the abyss and facing the ignominy of becoming the first league club automatically relegated to the Football Conference.
The Fourth Division game at Turf Moor attracted over 15,000 fans – but also the eyes of a nation.
