A stunning late fightback took the Clarets back into the top six as tyrone Mears and Jack Cork both struck in a dramatic final ten minutes to earn a morale-boosting seventh home win of the season.

Derby looked as though they were going to pull off a painful Ram-raid as they grimly hung on to a lead given to them by Luke Moore's deflected 19th minute shot.

But after piling on the pressure in the second half, Burnley deservedly levelled when former Derby full-back Mears chose the perfect moment to score his first goal for the club.
