Burnley Former Players Association Secretary Veronica Simpson today met with representatives of Gary Parkinson's former clubs including Preston North End, Bolton Wanderers Blackpool to discus future events to help raise money for Gary Parkinson's recovery.

I couldn't go to the dinner, as the car @#$%& up costing me almost £700, which with common sense involved and basically had to work the night. Shame, as i knew who was going and would have loved to rub sholders with Howe, Adam and Jimmy Mullen, but wasnt to be,
The total is close to £17000 which is fantastic, and if anyone fancys stopping of with DarloMike there is another event in aid of Parky on May 15th.
A game involving Middlesboro, but with Gary Parkinsons son wearing Garys number 2 shirt and playing.
