Eddie Howe knows that his team has clicked as a defensive unit but is yet to see them score after the Clarets were held to a second successive goalless draw.
Having watched the Clarets produce a stalemate against Championship leaders QPR a week previously, Howe had the chance to influence things from the dug-out for the first time as Burnley boss. And while he must have been pleased with the endeavour he engineered from his charges, the former Bournemouth chief was unable to provide an instant answer to the Clarets away-day mystery. As a distant fan I do make it a duty to read the match recipe of very learned Longside.co.ltd . I do presume that his report is more than genuine and in future I shall always rely on his match reports which I hasten to read after every match .
From what I have read it is Burnley which had the upper hand . They dominated the match for long and had more chances to score . Bad luck pursuant we were not able to nettle a ball . May be our players did not maximize their chances .
I do feel that our club is direly missing a proficient goal scorer . We should look now in the transfer market according to our capacity to spend .
