Not only did the club bend over and accept whatever the Police wanted they also managed to balls up the ticket sales.
Got to the ground about 5 to 7, about to go to the seats and was told I couldn't sit there and had to move to the upper tier.
Quite what they were expecting people to do 100 yards away from the @#$%& fans I'm not sure.

Probably some Assistant Chief Constable had a look at the security arrangements and decided there was a 1% possibilty that someone with a strong arm could reach the opposing fans with a well aimed growler. Deciding that his reputation at the Home Office was more important than any ticketing arrangements he simply said "Get 'em moved".
Knowing their mentality we should be thankful it wasn't played behind closed doors.

Makes you wonder how they Police Rangers/Celtic games or how they will handle Liverpool v Everton at Wembley.
Maybe the police forces involved in these games are not completely incompetent?

It'll give them a headache just thinking about all those service stations on the way down to Wembley. Are they going to have a platoon tooled up on every one ? They well might.

I really, really wanted Cardiff and Swansea to both win their play off semis last Season - imagine 90,000 or that lot on the loose down Wembley Way
