BURNLEY slipped effortlessly into the top two with a magnificent victory at Leeds.First half goals from Scott Arfield and Sam Vokes deservedly put the Clarets in control of the Roses clash.
And after David Jones was carried off with an injury, Leeds’ responded with a late goal from substitute Matt Smith – before laying siege to the Clarets goal as they searched for a way back. But despite six minutes of stoppage time, Burnley held firm to keep up the early pressure on the Championship pacesetters. Burnley named an unchanged from the team that beat Birmingham 3-0 at Turf Moor in midweek. And it was a bright start by the Clarets, who carried on where they left off against the Blues. I think we're gonna have to sustain a fair bit of pressure in the second half.

I had this down as a litmus test. We can expect an improved points haul. Deffo play offs as a minimum. We don't win at Leeds unless we are going places.

Been reading, but didn't dare type until the points were secured. Brilliant result, things are looking very, very good indeed.

I fell asleep to the dulcet tones of the clarets player commentators last night with about ten minutes to go. Woke up and checked the score fully expecting a scabby last minute equaliser.

our pursuit along the road of success .Fans both from inland and afar sincerely wish that the winning streak could continue till the conclusion of the championship. a great bravo to all,board of directors ,coaching staff principally the manager,the players and not to forget the die.hard fans for their encouragement and vocal support.
