QPR 2 Burnley 0
By Burnley FC
December 6 2014
Rangers registered their first win over Burnley in 10 meetings to win the battle at the bottom. The Clarets consistently carved out the better chances at Loftus Road, but found Rob Green in scintillating form in the opening half as he denied Scott Arfield and George Boyd.
|
And as Rangers rallied in the second half, Leroy Fer and Charlie Austin - later red-carded - struck to end Burnley's four-game unbeaten run and seal victory for the Londoners.

Harry Redknapp...

Heaton; Mee, Shackell (c), Keane, Trippier; Boyd, Jones, Marney, Arfield; Barnes, Ings.
Subs: Gilks, Sordell, Reid, Kightly, Jutkiewicz, Wallace, Long.
Continue to keep Austin, Fer and Zamora off the ball and we can win this.
We've got to take our chances, 'cos you can bet they'll take theirs.
This is in theory QPR's easiest game of the season, at home against the lowest ranked team (apart from them) last season.
They're a poor side.

And he's off.

We have not created a single chance since QPR went down to 10 men.
and when we did, nothing came from them, that's the problem
