An early goal proved decisive in a tight contest at a windy Turf Moor. Aaron Ramsey's finish into the roof of the net within the first quarter of an hour handed title-chasing Arsenal their eighth consecutive Premier League win.

And despite the best efforts, battling Burnley were unable to find the breakthrough and stayed two points adrift of safety in the league table.

Only slightly less boring than the Spurs game, at least there was a goal to liven things up, but this PL football is a con trick, overpaid nancy boys continually throwing themselves onto the floor, the sooner we're back playing proper football the better.

Really disappointing result against a lucky Arsenal side. We are not taking our chances. If we are to burst our way out of a paper bag I would drop Ings and push up Barnes with Taylor/kightly coming in.

If Taylor and Kightly are the answer soapy then we're asking the wrong questions. The teams Dyche has been putting out have been the best he could, there aren't really any options off the bench that will make much difference. The difference now is in the opposition, we're done with the top teams, it gets 'easier', whether it gets easy enough I'm not so sure, but tinkering isn't the answer.

If we keep our heads we will be fine. Yesterday was the first time I saw signs of pressure seep into the team, probably not helped by the results beforehand.
The 'hard' games have gone, but there aren't half some massive ones remaining.

They're fair points soapy, Barnes isn't a winger and, imo, Ings is not far off a waste of space at the moment. But the problem, again just imo, is not the players or the positions they're playing in, it's been the strength of the opposition over the last 8 games. In fact though, we've taken 5 points from those 8 games, more than most people me included expected, I'm not sure any other teams/players/formations Dyche could have gone with would have bettered that.
As I said before, I believe our salvation lies in the fixture list, not in tinkering, we just don't have the players who can make a difference.

Ings is very much a marked man.stop Ings and they basically stop Burnley.

I suspect he'll persevere with Barnes out wide, Kightly is the obvious choice for me in that possy, but for whatever reason he seems to be permanently in the naughty corner.
