Sean Dyche Named Manager Of The Month For February

By Burnley FC
March 11 2016

Sean Dyche has been named as the Sky Bet Championship manager of the month for February.  The Clarets boss landed the award at the third time of asking this season, after previously being nominated in October and January.

And the award was richly deserved following a month that saw unbeaten Burnley win four and draw two of their six games, including a pivotal win over Hull City, to go top of the Championship for the first time this season.

Dyche said: “It is an award that I am obviously happy to receive. I’ve been fortunate enough to win it a few times before and I accept it gladly on behalf of the staff, the players and the club.

“I believe in that one-club mentality and this is a marker that it works.

Long it has been recognised that Sean Dyche is the best manager in the present Championship .he has the knack to choose the best players and add to the squad . He manages well with new players who emanate from among youngsters of the club .He is a great drive and the results are magnificent ,
As a loyal fan of the Clarets ,i have to congratulate him for his achievements .

Another significant achievement, well done to Sean Dyche but what a naff trophy. He is right that it is an indicator of what the staff and players have achieved. Why don't Sky give the MoM a Rolex? They could certainly afford it.

On a more serious not why don't they institute a Club of the Month award which could take into account not only results but on-field and off-field discipline, work in the community etc etc?

Naff trophy. Only one that matters is Championship winners trophy - as Mr. D will most certainly agree.

'Uddersfield next - that's only thing we and he care about right now.

Always one that's tries to find the bad or the worry in it.

If we lose today, it's nothing to do with this.

I got an appeal from Guide Dogs for the Blind yesterday soapy, I've put a contribution in the envelope and I'll be posting it on my way down to Shawbridge this afternoon, where I'll be supporting my local football team. I'll get in with my ST, which I buy each year, although I only get to about half the games due to clashes with BFC fixtures, I'll buy a programme which I probably won't read, and pie, peas, gravy and a coffee at half-time, although I won't really be hungry, but it all contributes to club funds and helps doesn't it.

I'm all heart me.(Sm14)
