On a day football came together to pay tribute to former Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, Burnley and Leicester City could not be separated. 

 Heart-felt tributes to Srivaddhanaprabha, who was killed in a helicopter crash along with four other people after leaving the King Power Stadium a fortnight ago, made for an emotional backdrop to the Foxes’ home-coming.

 In the first game at the stadium since the accident, Burnley boss Sean Dyche admitted the result was almost an irrelevance in the bigger picture of a personal and collective tragedy.

 But the Clarets still had work to do, and they did it in a typically professional manner which reflected the respect shown by the travelling supporters – many of whom joined in the 5000/1 tribute march and then fell silent for two minutes before kick-off to honour those who lost their lives last month and those commemorated over the Remembrance weekend.

 Leicester had outstripped those freakish odds to win the Premier League three seasons ago under the stewardship of Srivaddhanaprabha, while Burnley were heading back to the top flight.

 The Clarets have maintained their upward curve ever since, although a tough start to the current campaign had flattened out the graph.

 Three successive defeats and 13 goals conceded had added to the importance of regaining momentum.

 And Dyche’s men stood up to be counted in a display full of character and commitment which brought them a first clean sheet since the opening day of the season as the first team to stop Leicester scoring in the Premier League this season.

Me too FC. I thought we were lucky to go in at half time level. We are very fortunate to have two outstanding full backs (3 with Ward) and it must have been a difficult day to play football. There were signs in the second half of last season's fluency but with the injuries, although I hate them, I think its a good thing the international break is here. I would have liked to see Defour and Brady start together as individually they are creative but with both on the pitch our midfield reaches a new level. Chris Wood, perhaps because of the occasion, looked lumbering and I don't think Vokes and Wood are a good combination while Lennon and Cork seemed off the boil for much of the time.

2nd half was much more like us. First half was awful.

Thought Brady was a class above when he came on and Hendrick seemed to stabilize the midfield as well. Maybe try Defour and Hendrick with JBG and Brady wide? Cork is off the boil this season it seems to me.

Agree that Wood and Vokes doesn't work. Would like to see Wood and Vydra - but that would mean no "hoof ball."

Re Soapy... Lennon is a passenger most games, Wood has lumbered all this season... Vydra must wonder why he signed... does SD select the strikers by sticking pins in name cards... there was a time when Barnes was undroppable… Mee back to his best... Taylor gets better every game.

"Lennon is a passenger most games" ..He defended quite well yesterday,but if he's defending he can't be attacking.If Dyche is buying a winger he's should be playing to s abilities and getting them to give him the ball ..

Agree that Mee is playing better now..

Thought Long had a decent game as well..

Thought you guys were a bit lucky to pick up a point tbh, but that’s football, my mate Hart, well he makes me eat my words, a good point imo for the Clarets.
