One of sports mysteries, it's weird, it's inexplicable, unless someone can find a reason for it, I can't.
Bolton on loan, 20 appearances, 7 goals.
Burnley, 35 appearances, 0 goals,
Birmingham, first season, 40 appearances, 12 goals.
19 goals in 60 appearances either side of playing for us is a decent return, maybe not quite prolific, but not far off it. How on earth a player who scores once every 3 games can't score even once in 35 games for us is beyond me.
