Points shared in goalless draw at Turf Moor Burnley's search for a first Premier League win of the season goes on as Sean Dyche’s 400th game in charge ended in a tough 0-0 draw against Norwich City.

 The Clarets dominated large spells of the fiercely-contested clash but despite raiding the Canaries’ box throughout, were unable to find a breakthrough at a wet and windy Turf Moor.

 Dyche’s men piled on the pressure throughout the first half as Matej Vydra, Chris Wood and a steady string of crosses kept the leaky Norwich defence on red alert.

 Daniel Farke’s visitors – who lie bottom of the table and came into the match without a point – grew into the contest to cap a helter-skelter second period but after

 Matthew Lowton missed a golden opportunity to win it at the death, as Burnley were forced to settle for their third point of the season.

 Dyche was forced into two changes from last weekend’s 2-2 draw at Leicester as Aaron Lennon and Nathan Collins made their first Premier League starts of the season in place of the injured Maxwel Cornet – who announced his arrival from Lyon with a stunner at the King Power Stadium – and captain Ben Mee.

Wood looks jaded after his Olympic 'holiday'.
Vydra was his lively self until he got nailed, Then it was easy for Hanley & co thereafter.
Need Vyds & Cornet back asap.

It wouldn’t matter if we had Kylian Mbappé and Robert Lewandowski playing up front for us at the moment, with our wayward passing and crossing no one can score.

SD 's composed structured management style has never had hearts racing but has kept us in the prem at finance levels unsustainable in the long term. Maxwell C was a boost and relief for the long suffering squad but nowhere near enough at this level. We either recruit at the necessary level or accept the dreaded R. Huff and puff has run out of rope. As with 2 previous major shareholders of BFC the last lot have unloaded in a very timely manner. In the meantime the staff and squad deserve our support, we do suffer well (Sm6)

That's why we need Cornet & Vydra back as soon as possible. Comprendre? tongue sticking out smiley

What is the news regarding Cornet.....funny old thing is that SD was previously looking to unload Vydra. That would have been a costly mistake. We are not short of a lot but what we are short of could cost us dear.

BON, They are all going on International duty this week along with Hennessey, Wood, Collins and Roberts.

So Max must be in a playable condition, hope so. The Aussies having returned to being a penal colony have had to rely on escapees and parolees to form a squad, as for NZ it really doesn't make any difference.
