Three goals to secure three points for the Clarets on the South Coast

 Goals from Wout Weghorst, Josh Brownhill and Aaron Lennon secured Burnley an excellent 3-0 victory at Brighton and Hove Albion to mark Sean Dyche’s 250th Premier League game in charge with a first away win of the season.

 Burnley were two up at the interval through first-half strikes from Weghorst, his first goal since arriving in the transfer window, and Brownhill, his first Premier League goal.

 Lennon’s fantastic finish after 68 minutes capped off a fantastic Clarets display on the South coast, which secured a superb result.

 Dyche made three changes from last weekend’s match at Liverpool. Jack Cork, Dwight McNeil and Nathan Collins came into the side, with Ashley Westwood and James Tarkowski missing out through Covid. Jay Rodriguez was named on the bench for the Clarets.

 Meanwhile, Graham Potter’s hosts had former Burnley loanee Shane Duffy in their starting line-up, replacing the suspended Lewis Dunk, with Adam Webster also missing.

Well 3 goals in one game, brilliant showing from the lads, Wout has made a significant difference or is it Wood not being in the side? Oh well we keep going.

Spurs up next on Wednesday night.

That is 2 first class goals from Aaron Lennon and Josh digging the ball out from under his feet to score also first class,,,now Wout, threading the needle to score that goal should strike fear into the opposition. Not forgetting Max we now have a chance if SD lets them play.

it is only the beginning .beating by 3=0 away is an achievement .the players and coaches have regained confidence ,spurs or no spurs ,we fear none .definitely we are staying in the premier league

if we can repeat that performance another half dozen times we might just about get away with it.

Back to back wins are the key to survival, just look at Newcastle propelling themselves up the league table.
