Burnley lost out 2-0 to Premier League holders and chasers Manchester City at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon (April 2). First half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan saw Pep Guardiola’s side earn the three Premier League points. Clarets boss Sean Dyche made two changes to the side that were defeated at Brentford prior to the international break. Kevin Long slotted into the back four with Nathan Collins suspended while Jack Cork came into midfield as Maxwel Cornet dropped to the bench on his return from international duty with the Ivory Coast. Meanwhile, Spaniard Guardiola amended three names on the City teamsheet from their FA Cup win at Southampton last time out.
