Clarets suffer defeat at Carrow Road Burnley were beaten 2-0 at Norwich City on Sunday afternoon.

Pierre Lees-Melou’s ninth minute opener separated the two teams at half-time. Teemu Pukki completed the scoring after 86 minutes with a well-taken finish to secure the points for Dean Smith’s Canaries in Norfolk. Manager Sean Dyche named Matt Lowton, who came in for Connor Roberts, in the Clarets starting line-up. First-half The first chance fell to Norwich inside three minutes. Milot Rashica cut in from the left to hit a low shot across goal which Nick Pope dropped down to his left to beat away before Charlie Taylor put the rebound out for a corner.
