Clarets seal all three points on the road Burnley secured their second win of the 2022/23 campaign, with an impressive 5-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium on Saturday.

 Jay Rodriguez opened the scoring, with Josh Brownhill doubling the Clarets' lead just 10 minutes later, before Will Keane's penalty just before the break halved the deficit.

 A second-half strike from Nathan Tella, for his third goal in two games, doubled Burnley's lead once again, before Brownhill added a fourth in the 86th minute and Bastien just two minutes later.

 Vincent Kompany made just the one change from the side that drew 3-3 with Blackpool at Turf Moor last weekend, as Johann Berg Gudmundsson was handed his first start of the season, coming in for the suspended Ian Maatsen.

What pleased me most was they didn't faff about at the back too much when pressed.

Hopefully lesson learnt from Blackpool game.

Still, It was only when the 4th went that I relaxed a little.
