Points shared in seaside clash at Bloomfield Road Burnley's impressive unbeaten run continued on Saturday as the Clarets left Blackpool with a point in a goalless draw on the west coast.

The away side had chances to win it but the Tangerines' defence stood resilient to deny all three points but the draw sees the Clarets undefeated in 15 successive matches. Manager Vincent Kompany made one change from the side that beat Huddersfield Town 4-0 at Turf Moor last weekend in the Sky Bet Championship. Vitinho came in for the injured Ian Maatsen at full-back, with Halil Dervişoğlu returning to the matchday squad in the league for the first time since December. Sign of the times it feels like a defeat when we only get a point these days, once of a day we would be extremely glad of a point away from home.
