Clarets suffer first home defeat of the season Burnley fell to their first defeat of the season at Turf Moor on Saturday after Queens Park Rangers ran out 2-1 winners in the Sky Beg Championship clash.

 Sam Field opened the scoring for the visitors just before the hour mark, with Manuel Benson then curling home an equaliser in the 72nd minute.

 Substitute Chris Martin then stole the winning goal for the R’s with just four minutes to play to end the host’s’ unbeaten home record.

 Manager Vincent Kompany made five changes from the side that drew 2-2 with Rotherham United on Tuesday night.

 Arijanet Muric, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Josh Brownhill, Ashley Barnes and Manuel Benson all came into the XI replacing Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Ameen Al-Dakhil, Scott Twine, Vitinho and Lyle Foster.
