Barnes Set To Join Canaries

Striker to make Norfolk move Ashley Barnes is set to become a Norwich City player when his contract expires at the end of June.

The 33-year-old joined Burnley in January 2014 from Brighton and Hove Albion and during his time at the Club made nearly 300 appearances, scored over 50 goals and helped the Clarets win three promotions to the top-flight. With seven goals to his name this season, the striker hit the back of the net in Burnley’s win over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium in April, to clinch promotion to the Premier League.
