Isn't it Ironic?

Well don't you think??? Crystal Palace yesterday sacked manager Steve Kember just days after chairman Simon Jordan blasted Millwall for sacking Mark McGhee.

Kember took over Palace during the Summer after having the caretakers job at the end of last season. The season started brilliantly for Kember with Palace winning their first 4 games including the 3-2 opening day victory over Burnley. The bad run then started and Palace have won only once out of their last 13 games.

Jordan who has developed a reputation for not being patient criticised Millwall the other day for sacking their manager Mark McGhee. Jordon thought Millwall were too 'triggy happy'. The Milwall chairman Theo Paphitis hit back with various comments about Palace which weren't too complimentary to the South London club.

"The great thing about local rivalries is that, when things are going pear-shaped at home, you can have a pop at your neighbour" said Theo Paphitis.

"Step forward our good friends at Crippled Alice who took umbrage with our decision to part company with Mark.

"Having finished above The Beagles in the last two seasons, they probably can't understand how we can want for anything more.

"To slag off Dennis Wise, a player they tried to sign and who has won more than they could ever dream of, shows what a small-minded club they are.

"The accusation that I made a knee-jerk decision is choice coming from a club for whom 'knee' and 'jerk' should be interwoven into their club crest."

Maybe Jordon should keep his views to himself in the future otherwise he will continue to look a fool as comments about other clubs always seem to come back to haunt people.
