Youth Team at Home

The youth team are back in action this week with Bury the visitors to Gawthorpe this Saturday with Terry Pashley's side looking to build on the victory over Carlisle last Friday.

The game against Carlisle was the first in a month for the youngsters following the postponments of Oldham and Stockport. The side beat Carlisle 2-1 with the goals coming from Rhys Carpenter and schoolboy James Heywood who came on as a substitute.

The side are currently 6th place in the league, with 13 points, and victory on Saturday could see the side rise upto 4th above Oldham and Blackpool. Wigan remain top of the league on 27 points with Stockport County propping up the rear with just 4 points to their name.

So if your not doing anything Saturday morning or fancy seeing a bit of action enroute to Brammall Lane get yourself down to Gawthorpe for the 11 o'clock kick off.
