The forward is due to go back to the Reebok after a 3 month loan spell with the Clarets although something permanent may well be on the horizon.
Allardyce, who was speaking on SKY Sports, said quite simply that if Burnley want to sign the forward they are going to have to pay for him.
"Its quite simple, if Burnley want Delroy Facey they are going to have to pay us a fee....we've helped Burnley out with Delroy and Gareth Farrelly earlier on in the season, and now is the time to call Delroy back if they can't afford him. It is up to Stan Ternent to try and get his directors to release funds to sign the player."
When the questionn was put to Allardyce how much he wanted for Delroy he said he was looking for something in the region of the £200,000 they paid Huddersfield for the striker.
Facey is currently sixth choice striker at the Reebok and we believe that his contract won't be renewed when it expires in the Summer.
The whole situation is quite strange as the transfer window isn't in operation till January so i don't quite see how Bolton can sell anyone for cash during this period.
The only thing that it certain is that we can't extend his loan period after Sunderland on Saturday so in all honesty i don't think we'll be seeing Delroy at the Turf till at least January.
There has been a mixed reaction to Facey from Burnley fans and we have a poll running with a couple of options.....what do you think Stan should do?
