For the third consecutive week a Burnley player has been named in the team of the week. The winners in the previous weeks were Glen Little and David May with the award going to Brian Jenson this week.
In truth there could only be two keepers in the contest with both Jenson and Sunderland's Mart Poom scoring full marks in the press for their display's in the game last Saturday.
Jenson made some stunning saves with two in the first 5 minutes keeping us in the game, he tipped one brilliantly onto the bar in the second half and saave well from Stewart in injury time, these were the pick of the saves.
The Football League had this to say about the Beast.
"This great Dane gave a Man-of-the-Match performance in a game littered with chances, foiling Sunderland time and time again to help his team snatch a valuable 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light. A free signing from West Brom in the Summer, the 28-year-old has been an ever present in both the league and the Carling Cup for the Clarets this season - and they were grateful for his pressence on Saturday"
