Set to Sign Keeper?

Stan Ternent may get an early Christmas present with Rangers keeper Jesper Christiansen being linked with a move to the Turf in the New Year.

Stan blamed current keeper Jensen for four goals on Saturday and it's fair to say that Jensen hasn't overly impressed this season. Now might be the time for Stan to bring another keeper as he look's to sort out our problems at the back.

Christiansen is currently out of favour at Ibrox and has been told by manager Alex McLeish that he can move to another club in January.

Christiansen, like Jensen, is Danish however he is more highly thought of in his home country. He signed for Ranger's when he was 22 for £1.7 million but has only played for Scottish Champions once. He's now 25 and could be a perfect long term prospect for Burnley should Ternent be able to find the cash for the deal. The Dane is excited by the prospect of moving on and securing regular first team football again.

He said: "I am excited about what will happen in the future because I really need to play now.

"I have told the manager about my situation and I think Rangers will let me go during the transfer window on loan or a transfer."
