Ternent continues to be disappointed.

Here we tell you what both Managers thought about the result. Needless to say Stan Ternent was disappointed, while Dario Gradi praised youth.

Stan Ternent expressed his anguish at the clarets current form, while tried in a round about way to apologise for to the fans:

"It's very disappointing,"

"We gave ridiculous goals away and I'm not in a position to do a lot about it, but we'll keep working hard and turn it around."

Crewe Camp:

Dario Gradi was not surprisingly delighted with the result:

"The kids have done well" was his main statement and although he admitted the clarets had more possession he praised the quality Dean Ahston and Steve Jones.

"Dean's goal reminded me of the Dean of old, turning and scoring a super individual goal. Steve Jones was in and out of it in the first half but was always a threat and I thought he took his two goals really well."
