Keeper Signs

Nathan Abbey will be arriving at Burnley as we revealed this morning. He arrives at Turf Moor having signed a one-month contract with the club.

The 25-year-old was released by Ipswich Town earlier in the week and goes straight into the squad for the game against West Brom tomorrow.

The signing means that Brian Jensen will finally have some pressure put on him for the keeper's jersey. If Abbey starts the game tomorrow then at least we'll have a keeper on the bench for the first time this season.
