Reserves Leave It Late

The reserve team picked up a point in their re-arranged fixture with Bradford City last night. The Clarets left it very late though with the equaliser coming 2 minutes from the end.

Burnley fielded a very strong team with Rachubka, West, Gnohere, Weller, O'Neill, Alan Moore and Luke Chadwick all in the starting line up.

Burnely were the stronger team in the first half but it was the home side that scored first with Ben Muirhead getting the goal for the Bantams.

The second half was a more even affair with both keepers making decent saves. Alan Moore created the equaliser when his cross was converted into his own net by Simon Francis.

The result leaves the Clarets still in the bottom 3 but the side haven't lost since early December now. The next game will be against Sheffield United on the 18th February.
