Reserve and Youth Latest

The reserve team had their match against Tranmere called off yesterday. The cancellation means that the side stay second from bottom in the table.

Barnsley could have overtaken Burnley but their game against Hull also fell victim to the weather. Burnley will now travel to Rotherham next Wednesday before playing Barnsley a week later and its fair to say that both games are 'must win' ones.

The Youth team are back in action this Saturday when they travel to Halifax. The lads will go there looking to end a terrible run of 6 straight defeats. This run of results saw the side go finish in the bottom 3 of the North West table which then broke off into 3 divisions the other week. Our lads now play their games in the Merit League Division 3 and a win over Halifax will give them the boost they needed in the newly formed Division after the lads lost the first game against Macclesfield.
