Loan stars return home

Bradley Orr and Paul Rachubka have both returned to their respective clubs following unsuccessful loan spells. The news will come as no surprise with Orr playing just over 1.5 games and Rachubka sitting on the bench for every game during the one month they've been here.

Sir Bobby Robson has obviously seen through Stan's postive comment about Orr at the weekend and recalled the young midfielder. Stan talked about Orr 'doing particularly well' on Saturday when nothing could be further from the truth.

Rachubka has also been re-called after failing to play in any of the 6 games he was here for. This is particularly incredible given the criticism that Stan has given Brian Jensen over the last few weeks.

Neil Wood has of course been granted a further loan extension of 2 months by Manchester United.

The Clarets have now used 7 of the 8 short term loans that are available so Stan will only be allowed to bring in one more loan player. He said today that he is going to try and bring in a non-contract goalkeeper as cover for Jensen.
