The lack of televised football involving Burnley this season has caused anger amongst fans and the board. The club have only received £10,000 in television money whilst mid-table sides such as Reading and Cardiff have earnt over £250,000 from SKY.

Barry Kilby believes that there should be a minimum number of games shown for each team so that there is a more even distribution of the money. Burnley are currently bottom of the division in terms of TV money having collected just £10,000 for the away fixture at West Brom.

There's no doubt though that SKY would not be happy with giving clubs a minimum number of games and some fans have been critical of the club for believeing they should not be budgeting for the money following the ITV Digital fiasco.

Its beginning to look increasingly unlikely that Burnley will be on SKY before the season has finished with the latest fixtures recently announced. Matches involving Sunderland, West Brom and Wigan will complete the coverage for April. This means that only Rotherham(away or Sunderland(home) have a chance of being televised.

It is unlikely that Rotherham will be chosen as SKY haven't picked one relegation clash in April and fixtures on May 1st would suggest that matches involving Norwich, West Brom and Sheffield United are likely to be chosen. The final fixture of the season against Sunderland has got a good chance though, with SKY showing two games on the Sunday, but a lot will depend on the possibility of Sunderland winning promotion that day.
