Adebola signs in, plus one other?

Stan Ternent has pulled another signing out of the hat on deadline day, with the knowledge that Dele Adebola of Coventry City has signed until the end of the season. READ:

The big striker (28) was wanted by Stan seasons a go, but has since suffered a bad injury and found himself on the football conveyor belt. But he will be a welcome addition to the squad, will bring some experience and height and hopefully Stan can get the best out of a player who was valued at over a million pounds not so long a go. If Adebola can come as good as Akinbiyi has at Stoke it will be great.

Adebola played against the Clarets recently when he replaced Julian Joachim for Coventry in our 4-0 defeat there a fortnight ago. He was brought through the ranks at Crewe before Birmingham paid a million pounds for him although the move never really worked out for him and he has since spent time at Oldham and Crystal Palace before going to Coventry. The player will take the number 9 shirt which was left by Gareth Taylor and is expected to start in the vital clash at Bradford on Saturday.

Furthermore it seems Ternent is hoping to bring in a non-contract central defender. Rumours abound that it is Lenny Johnrose! But these do seem to be a little wide of the mark at the moment.
