There is growing speculation that Glen Little is set to sign for Reading in the Summer. Little, who will become a free agent, is understood to have already agreed a contract with Reading.
The popular winger played for Reading last season when he was loaned out for the final weeks of our campaign. The move sparked anger amongst Bunrley fans and his name was chanted on several occassions in our 7-4 defeat against Watford which came shortly after the move. Burnley have offered Glen a contract but he has so far refused to sign it. He had a brief spell at Bolton earlier on this season and there were rumours that Sam Allardyce was going to make a fresh bid for him, this never materialised, and it now looks as though one of most prized assets will join a fellow 1st Division club for free in the Summer. Rumours of the move to Reading re-surfaced when Scott Murray left the Madjeski to re-join his old club Bristol City a few weeks ago. According to other websites the deal has already been done with his house now up for sale. The departure of Little will cause a mixed reaction from the fans with a growing number believing the time has come for him to move on.
