Little agrees to Reading

Fans favourite Glen Little has confirmed that he has verbally agreed a move to Reading. The winger had been strongly linked with the move to join Steve Coppell for several weeks now.

The Evening Telegraph has today announced that Little has agreed a 3 year deal with the Royals and will join them in the Summer. The news will come as a big blow to Stan and Barry Kilby who were hoping that Little would sign a new contract with the Clarets.

It would be fair to say that Little has put in some less than convincing displays recently and the move will no doubt be good for the Londoner who has become stale at the Turf over the last couple of seasons.

Little who has been with the Clarets for 7 and half years has always been popular with the fans. He scored the winning goal at Scunthorpe which won us promotion before enjoying a great spell of football when the Clarets were riding high in this division. Last year, Little was loaned out to Reading in a move that shocked supporters. He also went out on loan this season to Bolton but returned after a mixed spell at the Reebok.

His final game for the Clarets will come against Sunderland next Sunday and it is bound to be an emotional farewell for Glen.
